This project came from my late undergraduate urban design course and was done in collaboration with a friend. Although we all seem to lack the expressiveness of design (because we have since left the field of design), this urban design project contains our vision of the future of life, especially after the world has experienced that epidemic, how will the way of life of human beings begin to change...
The project derived from my master's thesis. Part of this project draws on ideas and methods from urban expansion projects, and uses functions to fit the housing price and NTL intensity distribution.
The project informs me how to apply remote sensing techniques in application of agriculture in a simple way. It demonstrates how NDVI changes over time and how these can be visualized in GIS workflows.
The project initially derived from my bachelor's thesis. What inspires me most is that math functions can be used to depict the different forms and characteristics of cities, informing the dynamic change of urban expansion. In the project, I also provide the source of inspiration and related application by link.
